NATO will soon officially accept Finland and Sweden into its ranks, the expansion of the alliance contributes to the security of all member countries.
This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at a joint press conference with his Turkish colleague Mevlut Chavushoglu in Ankara.
“The entry of Sweden and Finland to NATO is a question of not a bilateral nature. You know, we unequivocally support their speedy introduction. We are sure that NATO will soon officially accept them in their ranks. And this will strengthen the safety of all NATO members, including the United States and Turkey, ”he said.
