Bloomberg: Chubais went away from post of Special Representative Putin and left Russia

Anatoly Chubais left the post of Special Representatives of the President of Russia for Relations with International Organizations to achieve sustainable development goals. This is reported by Bloomberg with reference to two sources.

Sources argue that Chubais left Russia, explaining his actions to disagree with the war in Ukraine, writes Bloomberg.

Agency notes that Chubais became the highest ranking official who broke up with the Kremlin after the invasion of Ukraine.

Antoli Chubais was appointed Special Representative of the President of Russia in December 2020. Before that, he was nine years old headed the state corporation “Rosnano”. After the beginning of the war, he publicly did not make an unambiguous anti-war statements.

Last week, Arkady Dvorkovich, who in 2012-2018 was the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government, went from the post of Chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation.
