The remains of a man were found in a well in one of the villages of Sumgait.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on the territory of the village of Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev, rescuers helped to raise the body of an unknown man to the surface.
Subsequently, law enforcement officers established that the deceased was 42-year-old Amirov Khanali. The man has been reported missing since December 2020. The remains of the deceased have been transferred for further examination.
During the investigation, the investigation revealed reasonable suspicions that Amirov’s acquaintance, Rahimov Yusif, on December 18, 2020, came to the house of Kh.Amirov in the Tagiyev village in Sumgait and inflicted numerous knife wounds on the latter due to a personal conflict, then threw the body in the basement of the village school and burned it.
