“Bodyguard” Journalist Hoshgradam Hidatgyzy spun 11 women per hundreds of thousands of manat

26-year-old resident of Baku Aihan Mammadley, hiding behind the name of the famous Azerbaijani TV presenter Hoshgradam Hidatgyzy, deceived 11 people and took possession of a large amount of money.

According to haqqın.az, Aihan Mamedley seemed to his victims a philanthropist and a man of a wide soul. The 26-year-old fraudster appropriated half a million Manatov, promising people to assist in the acquisition of social housing, employment and organization of treatment abroad. The victims claim that Mamedley seemed to them a bodyguard, assistant and producer Hoshgradam Hidatgyzy.

In his defense, Ayhan Mamedli said that until 2019 he successfully worked in various positions in several television companies, he had a trusting relationship with his colleagues, and he also provided financial assistance to the disabled.

The first victim of the swindler was Afag Mirsadizade, with whom he lived in the neighborhood for almost 20 years. The woman treated Mamedli as her own son, and he asked her 6 thousand dollars (supposedly for the needs of the TV presenter) and promised to return the entire amount and another thousand dollars – “for help” in ten days. The unsuspecting woman gave the fraudster money. Mamedli promised a neighbor that Hidatgyzy would return the money as soon as he sells his car, but Mirsadizade did not receive any money. Moreover, in the future, the fraudster borrowed almost 30 thousand dollars from her. After that, Mamedli deceived the daughter of Afag, akif, suggesting the latter to open a business for the sale of mobile phones. In fact, the young man did not plan to open any business, and spent the money received in bookmakers and in Turkey. The total damage suffered by the Mirsadizade family through the fault of the scammer is 66 thousand manat.

The next victim of Mamedley was his other neighbor – Irada Aliyev. He frauded from a woman 17 thousand manat, gathered by her to repair the house. A week later, the fraudster returned the money, and after three days he asked for 10 thousand dollars, saying that he was going to Turkey with Hidatgyz. He did not return this amount.

After that, Mamedli deceived the forced migrant Sahyar Nasirov, an extremely poor woman working as a cleaner. The fraudster lured from Nasirova with difficulty accumulated by her 20 thousand manat, promising to purchase social housing for her in the Yasamal district, where the construction of a new complex is now being built.

Mamedli made his most cynical act of fraud in relation to Khazangule Aliyeva – a woman selling vegetables on the market. He promised Aliyev to cure her son suffering from cancer in Turkey, and thus received 9 thousand manat from her. The money for the treatment of the patient was sent by all Aliyeva relatives. Mamedli, who received money forward, promised to meet the patient at the Turkish airport, but did not do this. Aliyev’s son stayed in Turkey for two days before he realized that Mamedli was a deceiver.

Ayhan Mamedley did not agree with most of the charges and said that he had already compensated most of the damage. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.
