Boris Johnson explained danger of football superliga

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson responded to the creation of a football superliga.

According to politics, the new tournament can cause great damage to the sport, so it strongly supports the adoption by European football authorities restrictive measures. He also called on English clubs who agreed to participate in the Super League to answer both his fans and the wider football community.

The creation of the tournament was announced earlier on Monday, April 19. The organizers performed 12 top clubs in Europe, including six representatives of the British Premier League (APL): “Liverpool”, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea.

The APL opposed the organization of the tournament.
