The head of the diplomacy of the European Union (EU) Josep Borrel advocated the activation of the European Union in the South Caucasus.
“At our annual ministerial meeting of Eastern partnership, I propose to continue our eastern partnership policy in parallel with the process of expansion as a means of regional cooperation. We must intensify the work in the field of security and defense and continue to participate in the name of the safe, stable and prosperous Southern Caucasus” , – wrote Borrel on Monday on Twitter.
The meeting of the heads of the Foreign Ministry of the EU and the member states of the Eastern Partnership program is held on Monday in Brussels (Belgium). Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jayhun Bayramov also takes part in it.
