BP increased gas production on Shahdeniz

In the first quarter of this year, BP-Azerbaijan from the Shahdeniz gas condensate field located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, obtained about 6 billion cubic meters of gas, which in an annual comparison is 17.6% more.

According to the company, about 9 million barrels of condensate were obtained from the deposit, which is 15.4% more than the same period last year.

According to information, the production was conducted on the platforms “şahdəniz alfa” and “şahdəniz bravo”. “Currently, the production capacities of the deposit are approximately 72 million cubic meters per day or over 26 billion cubic meters per year,” the company said.
