The Azerbaijani Defense Industry Fields Team (MOP) took first place in the XXII Republican Spartakiad dedicated to October 18 – the day of the restoration of independence and the Azerbaijani trade unions organized by the Confederation of Trade Unions.
The competitions in the swimming pool of the AZAL sports complex were attended by the teams of the National Aviation Academy, Baku Metropolitan CJSC, Baku Steel Company and the Ministry of Defense. Athletes competed in a free -style swim at 50 meters.
Members of the Ministry of Defense team won the competition, bypassing all their rivals. The teams of the ministry also took 1st place in volleyball competitions, 3rd place in football and table tennis competitions, 2nd place in the rope tug competitions.
, in the framework of the sports day of the team of the Ministry of Defense, will compete for the championship in the backbreaks, checkers, chess and shooting.
