The British Island of Jersey threatens the invasion of the Shernya Vespa Velutina, also known as Killer’s Horses. This is reported by Edition The Mirror.

According to experts, in 2021 the number of hornets on the island can reach a record level. Since the beginning of the year, 63 uterus has been discovered: 38 of them found representatives of the public, 25 more fell into traps. This figure is approaching the record registered in 2019, when 69 VESPA VELUTINA individuals noticed on Jersey.

To effectively combat invasion Vespa Velutina on the island, a team of volunteers engaged in tracking the harnesses is formed. The inhabitants of the island call on to check the sheds, garages and other premises for the presence of nests, and also to report to the Commission for Observation of Asian Horses about any cases of detecting these insects.
