British premiere was fined

The Prime Minister of Great Britain Rishi Sunaku was a fine for traveling in the passenger seat without fastening the seat belt.

This is stated in a message widespread by the police of the County of Lancashir, located in the north-west of England.

British police promised to study a video where the prime minister does not use a seat belt.

“After the appearance of a video on social networks, showing how a person does not use a safety belt, being a passenger in the movement of a car in Lancashir, today, January 20, sent a 42 -year -old man from London a conditional payment of a fine,” said it was said In the message.

Such a wording means that the person who has a fine can either challenge it, or, pleading guilty, pay a fine, after which the incident will be exhausted. The human name is not given by tradition, however, all data indicate that it is about the head of government.

On Thursday, during a visit to Lancashir, Sunak recorded a video for social networks, announcing an increase in investment in the region’s economy. In the video, he appears not fastened in the back seat of the car while driving.

Later, the representative of the head of government brought an apology on his behalf. “It was a one -time erroneous decision. The Prime Minister unfastened the belt to record a small video message. He fully admits that this was a mistake and brings his apologies for it,” he said.

After the fine was issued, the prime minister’s office reported that Sunak would pay him. “He, of course, will fulfill the conditions of the fine,” said the representative of the head of government, whose words are quoted by Sky News.

The size of the fine in the police report is not indicated. The driver or passenger in the UK faces a fine of 100 to 500 euros, if he is not fastened with a seat belt while driving. Exceptions from the rule concern only police, firefighters and rescuers. The upper bar is usually applied when it comes to court.

Sunak became the second prime minister in history, who was fined while in power. The first was Boris Johnson (2019-2022). He was a fine for participating in parties with alcohol, which took place in the residence of the Prime Minister in the midst of the pandemic, despite coronavirus restrictions. For the same violation, the fine was written out by Sunaku, who at that time held the post of Minister of Finance.
