In August 2021, the consumer price index for food, beverages and tobacco products in Azerbaijan amounted to 100.8% to the previous month and 107.8% by August of the previous year, the State Statistics Committee reports.
According to the State Committee, in August of this year compared with the previous month from food products, buckwheat, beef, lamb and chicken, sausage, frozen fish, condensed milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, sunflower oil, lemons, watermelon, cabbage , cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, trunk beans, potatoes, onions, sugar, waffles, chocolate and natural chocolate products, tea, cola, lemonade, vodka, beer.
The decline was mainly observed at prices for fresh fish, eggs, bananas, apples, pears, peaches, plums, melon, grapes, bell pepper, beets and carrots.
Prices for other food products have not changed.
