Bulgaria: first vote for Turk – presidential candidate

As reported today, HAQQIN.AZ, the presidential elections and early elections of the Deputies of the People’s Assembly are held in Bulgaria (Single Parliament). Representatives of 20 parties and 7 coalitions take part in early parliamentary elections. 23 candidates claim the post of head of state.

and for the first time in these elections, Turks and Muslims, which constitute about 10 percent of the population of Bulgaria, will be able to vote for a candidate of Turkish origin. Anadolu reports that the political party “Movement for Right and Freedom”, most of whose deputies – Turks, put forward to the presidency Mustafa Karadya.

Voting will end at 20:00 local time. If the polling stations are waiting for citizens, the process can be extended for another hour.
