Bulgaria suspended an agreement on a visa -free entry into the country for Russian citizens with diplomatic passports, reports the BNT channel.
The decision was made by the Council of Ministers of Bulgaria. It will enter into force on October 20. Russians who own current service passports will not have the right to enter, exit, transit, transit and temporary residence in Bulgaria without a visa.
On February 25, the European Council adopted similar prohibitions for dipparpart owners throughout the European Union. Bulgaria joined these sanctions.
