On January 25, the German government confirmed that it will send to Ukraine 14 Leopard 2 tanks and give other countries permission to re -export of these machines. According to the head of the Ministry of Defense of Germany Boris Pistorius, Leopard 2 will be sent to Ukraine until the end of March.

The intention to provide Kyiv tanks of Western production was also reported by other countries, in particular, Great Britain, Norway, Poland, Slovakia and France. Kyiv as the first party expects to receive up to 140 tanks from 12 states.
