In the city of Burdur, in the south-west of Turkey, the Turkish championship in sports orientation was held.
The event was timed to the 100th anniversary of the national leader of Azerbaijan, the late President Heydar Aliyev.

As reported in the Federation of Sports orientation of Turkey, 1160 athletes from 84 clubs took part in the country’s championship, including 446 women,
The winners were awarded prizes, and volunteers – letters of thanks.
Sports orientation – a sport in which participants using a sports map and compass should go through the route through control points located on the ground. The results are determined by the time of the distance or by the number of points scored.
