In the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, a preparatory meeting was held in a criminal case against the detainee in Ukraine and the businessman of Maxoud Makhmudov extradededened to Azerbaijan.
According to HaqQin.az, at a meeting, chaired by the judge of Faiga Ganiev, the defendant personal data were clarified.
Mahmudov said the court that was married, but the decision on divorce took after a trip to Ukraine. He also reported that he had health problems and asked the court to create conditions for his treatment. In court, they stated that in this regard, a request will be sent to the Baku Investigative Insulator.
Consideration of the case appointed on February 14th.
We will remind the IT Azerbaijan Interior Ministry in January 2020 to the international wanted list under Article 178.3.2 (fraud committed with damage in a large amount) of the Criminal Code M.Makhmudov was detained on the territory of Ukraine in July 2021. In September, he was delivered from Ukraine to Azerbaijan and transferred to the consequence. Makhmudov was also accused of articles of the Criminal Code 183.2.2 (re-embezzlement of values) and 182.2.2 (extortion by blackmail).
