A regular meeting of the Working Group on Energy Saving the Interdepartmental Center operating under the Coordination Staff created in connection with the decision in a centralized procedure for issues released from the occupation of the territories of Azerbaijan was reported by HAQQin.az.

At the meeting, the measures taken during the week to restore and reconstruct the energy infrastructure on the liberated territories of Azerbaijan were discussed. The planned activities for the energy supply of territories, important issues requiring decisions, in addition, were heard of the information provided by representatives of the relevant departments for energy infrastructure, transmitting and distribution networks, substations, heat supply work and further steps. The measures taken to implement decisions made in previous meetings of the Working Group were considered.

The importance of compliance with safety regulations, in particular fire safety, during field work related to the restoration of energy infrastructure on liberated lands was emphasized.

Also, the meeting participants were informed about the construction of Hudaperin hydroelectric power plants and Gyz Galasi on the Araz River in the Jabrail district, about the work on filling the water of the hydrose-sized galas.

The meeting discussed the proposals of local, as well as British and Israeli companies on energy security on the territories liberated from occupation, the organization of coordination in connection with the construction of communications lines in areas where roads are held, and other similar questions.
