Cabinet of Council of Poland temporarily banned import of Ukrainian grain

The Polish government authorized the Minister of Agriculture and Development of the village, as well as the Minister of Development and Technologies to issue legal acts on the introduction of a temporary ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.

According to PAP Polish news agency, the government is in search of a solution to problems in the agricultural market.

Poland’s Cabinet of Ministers on Saturday, April 15, discussed the current situation in the agricultural market and the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict for the country’s agriculture.

“The Council of Ministers authorized the Minister of Agriculture and Development of rural areas and the Minister of Development and Technologies to issue relevant legal acts to protect the Polish agricultural market from destabilization, including a temporary ban on the import of agricultural and food products from Ukraine,” the statement of the Ministry of Agriculture said in a statement farms of the country.

The statement also notes that the relevant ministers are in constant contact with the Ukrainian authorities.

It is noted that the corresponding ban will act until the end of June.
