Canadian company explained presence of its details in Iranian drones

Canadian Tallysman Wireless President Jailes Panther said that the components produced by the Iranian drone Shahed-136, which Russia, according to Kyiv, uses under the name “Gerani-2”, through distributors using “dummy companies”.

In an interview with The Globe and Mail, he noted that Tallysman Wireless does not sell its products to Iran or Russia, and its distribution network is prohibited from selling anything to countries, individuals or legal entities that are the subject of sanctions. According to him, these details were redirected to Iran through distributors using “standing companies.”

“The assumptions are sounded that we are somehow involved in this use. We are absolutely not like that. Tallysman supports Ukraine 100% in the face of Russian aggression,” said Panther, the words of which are quoted by The Insider.

The non-governmental organization, previously based in Kyiv, statedwatch said that more than 30 components of Western firms were found in the Iranian dried-ups of Shahed-136. According to her, the filling of Shahed -136 – with the exception of the Iranian production engine – consists entirely of foreign components.
