Casha notified Turkey on exclusion from F-35 program

US sent the official notice of Turkey on its exclusion from the program of the production of the latest F-35 fighters due to the purchase of Ankara Russian PVA C-400, reports Anadolu agency with reference to the source in the Pentagon.

It is noted that the United States has canceled a joint Memorandum for the production of F-35, signed by Turkey in January 2007, signing it with the seven remaining partners in the project F-35 – Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Australia, Denmark, Canada and Norway.

Earlier, Turkey took the obligation to buy 100 F-35 aircraft. She also participated in the production of more than 1000 components for them. As RIA Novosti, Minister of Industry and Technologies of the Republic of Mustafa Varank, Turkey continues to produce these components, despite the fact that the United States has excluded it from this project.
