Central Bank of Azerbaijan denied information on artificial retention of the manat rate at a stable level.
At today’s press conference, the Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov told reporters that the statements about artificial retention of the national currency at a stable level do not correspond to reality.
“The Central Bank in the transfer of the State Oil Fund means plays only the role of the agent, and this process can be called fiscal,” the head of the Central Bank emphasized.
