The decision to suspend Azerbaijan cooperation with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) was adopted in response to unreasonable and far -fetched accusations against Azerbaijan.
This was stated by the chairman of the Milli Majlis (parliament) Sahiba Gafarov at a plenary meeting of the parliament on Thursday.
According to her, everyone knows the real causes of a political action related to an open manifestation of injustice, bias, bias and double standards of PACE against Azerbaijan.
“certain forces in Europe cannot come to terms with the restoration of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan as a result of 44 -day Patriotic War and anti -terrorist events,” she said.
Gafarova expressed concern in connection with the fact that “the rejection of some new realities that appeared in the South Caucasus, and incitement to Armenian revengeism pose a serious threat aimed at creating a strong and long -term world and stability in the region.”
