This was the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zheparov during a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin in Yerevan, Kabar reports.
Zhaparov noted the high dynamics of bilateral contacts at the highest and high levels, as well as active intergovernmental interaction. “I want to note that the Kyrgyz -Russian relations are at a high level, as befits strategic partners. The Russian Federation is our closest ally, a reliable strategic partner,” the politician said.
In turn, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin noted that the Kyrgyz-Russian relations are developing on the basis of strategic partnership.
Mishustin emphasized the importance of implementing long -term strategic tasks set by the heads of two states before the governments.
He proposed to accelerate the launch of joint projects in the field of transport, logistics, industry, digital economy.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues of the Kyrgyz-Russian agenda, paying special attention to issues of trade, economic and cultural and humanitarian cooperation, strengthening interaction in the fields of transport, energy, education.
