The speaker of the Mongol parliament emphasized that the state visit of the President of Austria to Mongolia, which took place 62 years after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, is the first in the history of bilateral relations.

Amarbashalan noted that the visit will be of great importance for the conclusion of bilateral relations to a new level.

The Chairman of the Amarbashalan noted that the cooperation between the parliaments of Mongolia and Austria is a key factor in the development of bilateral relations.

He also assured that the great state hural of Mongolia would fully support the proposals and initiatives aimed at activating relations between parliamentary groups of friendship, expanding cooperation and creating a legal basis for the further development of relations between two countries.

The Chairman of the Amarbashalan proposed developing cooperation between Mongolia and Austria in order to strengthen the parliamentary management and create a comprehensive and transparent legal system that protects human rights, meets social needs.

Parliament of friendship groups have been created in the parliaments of the two countries. The parliamentary friendship group of Mongolia-Austria in the Great State Hurale of Mongolia is headed by deputy N. Batsumberal, the deputies of the chairman are Batyn Batbaatar and Khukhuhuin Bolrmaa.
