Chairman Of PRC: SCO Has Turned Into Effective Power Against Hegemony And Power Policy

China Chairman Xi Jinping said that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has turned into an effective force that opposes hegemony and power policy, advocating multipolar, international equality and justice. He made a speech at the opening of the 25th Council of the Council of the Heads of the SCO state in the Chinese city of Tianjin.

The Chinese leader noted that the organization has been in the spirit of multipolarity since the creation, builds global management based on intense consultations and distribution of benefits. “The SCO, protecting equality and justice in the world, supports the inclusive of civilizations and their mutual training,” the PRC chairman emphasized.

Xi Jinping called the organization’s member to overcoming differences, strengthening cooperation and solidarity, as well as to support the equal multipolar world and inclusive economic globalization.

The President also said that this year China will send SCOS 2 billion to the yuan ($ 280 million) and provide 10 billion yuan (1.4 million dollars) loans through the interbank consortium SCO. For five years, it is planned to open 10 professional educational centers “Luban Workshop”, having prepared 10 thousand specialists.

the SCO was created in 1996 as an alliance to ensure the security of border and economic cooperation by the countries of the “Shanghai Five” – ​​China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. In 2001, Uzbekistan joined the organization. In subsequent years, the SCO included India, Pakistan, Iran and Belarus.
