Chaos in Canada: protests, cries of “freedom” and dancing on grave of an unknown soldier

Thousands of protesters went to the streets of the Canadian capital of Ottawa, demanding about the abolition of mandatory vaccination for truckers crossing the border from the United States. Truckers say that they will be in the capital until the authorities go for concessions, reports BBC.

Protests called “Convious Freedom” began in the Canadian capital on January 29, in response to the Vaccine Mandate approved by the Government, according to which the unvaccified drivers of heavy vehicles must comply with two-week quarantines on returning from the United States to Canada. Soon, the demonstrators began to oppose other restrictions related to COVID-19, and also collapsed with criticism of the Government of Justin Trudo. He himself called the protesting “small marginal minority.”

The local police announced the investigation of several incidents with the participation of protesters after the demonstrators climbed into Kenotaf at the National Military Memorial with the cries of “Freedom” and danced on the grave of an unknown soldier.

Truckers also blocked the movement of streets around parliament. Earlier it was reported that the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudouu left the capital along with his family because of concerns around security. The head of the Ministry of Defense of Canada Anita Anand said that incidents deserve the strongest censure.
