The new realities of the South Caucasus (de -Kukupation of the Azerbaijani lands) are a contribution to the mechanisms of long -term transportation of goods, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu at the opening of a tripartite meeting of ministers of transport and foreign affairs of Turkey, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in Aktau. This was reported by the Agency “Anadola”.
The Foreign Minister of Turkey focused on the opening of two new international airports in Azerbaijan – Fizulinsky and Zangilan, connecting the Karabakh economic region with the world.
Chavushoglu also pointed to the strategic significance of the Zangesur corridor for trading between the Middle East and the Caucasus, Asia and Europe.
