Chavushoglu: there is no need to mine Ukrainian ports for grain removal

The need to cleanse the Black Sea coast of Ukraine to start transporting grain. This was said by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu, reports “Anadol.”

According to him, a safe route for ships can be laid in areas where there is no mine threat. At the same time, he noted that cleaning the sea zone from mines in accordance with the UN plan can take a certain time.

“The areas of the location of the minimum mines are known. You can create safe outputs in three ports, and this will allow the courts to follow without any threat. Ukrainian boats will serve as guides. After the vessels are entered into the security zone, they will be inspected,” said Chavushoglu. .

The Foreign Minister of Turkey called the UN plan for the export of Ukrainian grain to be implemented.

“We expect an answer from Russia on this issue. Turkey supports this plan. If the parties support the initiative, then we can organize a meeting in Istanbul to discuss the details,” said Chavushol.
