Chiefs of General Staffing of Russia and United States met in Helsinki

Head of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov and Chairman of the Committee of the Headquarters of the US Armed Forces Committee Mark Milli met in Helsinki. They issued questions about reducing the risk of conflicts between the military, reports the Mint of Russia.

“during the meeting, military leaders discussed issues of mutual interest, including a decrease in the risks of incidents during military activities. The meeting was constructive,” said the Ministry of Defense.

According to The Wall Street Journal, negotiations took place against the background of finding ways to combat terrorism after the US and their allies from Afghanistan.
