“New cases of local infection with a coronavirus infection of COVID-19, recorded recently in China, were caused by non-interconnected cases from abroad.” This was reported in the State Committee for Health Care.
It is reported that such a conclusion was made on the basis of sequencing of the viral genome and epidemiological investigation.
The Committee argues that during the new wave of the COVID-19 epidemic, several chains of coronavirus transmission were revealed. As of the end of last week, confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in 20 administrative units of the provincial level.
