Special Representative of the People’s Republic of China on Climate Ce Chenghua said that Beijing and Washington signed the Declaration on the revitalization of work to overcome the climate crisis, RIA Novosti reports.
“Tonight, China and the United States presented a joint Chinese-American Glagovo Declaration on the revitalization of climate work in the 2020s,” said the representative of the official Beijing.
He said that since the beginning of this year, both sides held about 30 virtual meetings, as well as meetings in China and the United Kingdom.
It is noted that the Declaration provides for specific measures that will contribute to the achievement of the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
