China Began Railway Supply Through Kazakhstan To Azerbaijan Along Transkaspiy Route

On the morning of July 9, from the city of Jinjun in Shanxi Province in the north of China to the capital of Azerbaijan Baku, a railway line set off, loaded with 50 standard containers with sets of photoelectric batteries with a total weight of 1159 tons. This flight marked the launch of railway transport on the China-European route through the Transkaspian corridor. The composition went from the Zhundin logistics center. On the way, he will proceed through the territory of Kazakhstan, arrive in the port of Aktau, from where the load will be delivered to Azerbaijan with a ferry.

Compared to traditional routes, the Transcaspeiy path can significantly reduce delivery time, the company noted. In the future, it is planned to use this route for the convenient supply of photoelectric modules to the countries of the South Caucasus, Turkey and Eastern Europe.

Currently, Huayuan International Land Port provides regular railway transport on 23 routes connecting China with Europe and Central Asia. These routes connect Shanxi Province with 48 cities in 16 countries.
