China Brought In Orbit Shian Class Satellite

China sent a Shian class satellite to the space, designed for testing satellite technologies and observations of earth and space environment.

SHIAN-28B 01 satellite was launched by the Long March-4C missile from the Sichuan Cosmodrome, Sinhua reports.

After the launch, the satellite took the planned orbital position, which became the 583rd successful transport mission, carried out by Long march missiles.

the satellite is planned to be used to observe the space environment.

Shian satellites, whose name is translated from Chinese means “experiment” and the first of which was sent into space in 2004, are used to test orbital technologies, as well as for ground observations and monitoring of the space environment.
