China, citing nuclear negotiations with the participation of Iran, which will take place on July 25 in Istanbul, said that Tehran’s nuclear problem can be solved exclusively by diplomatic means.
According to Global Times, the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Go Jiakun, at a regular briefing in Beijing, commented on the upcoming negotiations between Iran and European countries – Great Britain, France and Germany.
According to GO, Iran’s nuclear activity poses a threat to peace and security in the Middle East and causes concern from the point of view of efforts to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons.
He emphasized that China has advocated a peaceful settlement of the problem of political and diplomatic means, and noted that diplomacy remains the only way out.
The representative urged all parties to make efforts to achieve the result in negotiations.
Earlier, Iranian state television reported that nuclear negotiations between Iran, Great Britain, France and Germany will be held on July 25 in Istanbul.
