China called on Russia and Ukraine to resume negotiations “without preliminary conditions”

China announced the support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. He called on Kyiv and Moscow to conduct negotiations “without preliminary conditions.” This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the words of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Van and during a meeting of the UN Security Council.

During the speech, the minister said that China’s position in relation to Ukraine remains consistent and clear. Beijing continues to maintain the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, as well as compliance with the principles of the UN Charter.

At the same time, Van called on Kyiv and Moscow to start negotiations “without preliminary conditions”.

“We must adhere to dialogue and negotiations. The main priority is that the parties resumed the dialogue without any preliminary conditions. So that they are committed to the dialogue without assuming that they conduct negotiations, so that negotiations can bring the result and peace”, – said the minister.
