“The international court of UN committed to the Russian Federation to immediately terminate military operation in Ukraine. Kuleba noted that the court decision is important, since at the highest legal level the fact of the invasion of Russia is stated and it is determined that the bottomless aggression of this country should stop. The 13 judges supported the decision, there were only two (Russia and China).
“This is a powerful result that gives the weight of the decision,” the Culba emphasized.
Also, the Minister noted that the court decision is legally binding in accordance with the norms of international law: it will become the point of reference of other legal and political assessments of Russian aggression.
“Ukraine has won here and requires Russia to immediately fulfill the order and stop aggression. International legal responsibility takes time, and the consideration of the case will now continue, but Russia’s responsibility is inevitable,” the Foreign Minister.
Culeba stated that the issue of reparations will be resolved at the last stage of consideration of the case, adding that it does not doubt that Ukraine will win, and eventually Russia will also pay money.
