The Chinese authorities will surely apply all possible countermeasures in response to the visit of the speaker of the House of Congress of the US Congress Nancy Pelosi on Taiwan, said the official representative of the PRC Hua Chunin.
She noted that Taiwan visited Pelos, despite China’s persistent protests: “China will accept all the necessary countermeasures to resolutely protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity,” she said at a briefing, answering the question of a Western journalist about whether Expect Beijing sanctions against Washington.
The diplomat emphasized that these actions undermine the sovereignty of the PRC.
