Chinese oil register has increased number of tankers for oil delivery from Russia

The largest Chinese oil industry Unipec has significantly increased the number of rented tankers for the delivery of Russian oil, writes Bloomberg with reference to the data of the analytical company Vortexa.

According to the publication, in May Unipec has captivated at least 10 tankers for delivering oil of the ESPO brand from the Kozmino port in the Primorsky Territory – that is, 5 times more than in April. Sinopec, which owns Unipec, refused to comment on the information.

According to VortExa, Unipec captivated two super -tankers, the rest of the vessels – relatively small tankers of the Aframax class. It is not known whether all vessels are intended for oil delivery to China.
