Since this year, the assembly of pickups and electric vehicles of the Chinese brand will begin at the Nakhchyansky automobile plant. This was announced by the head of the sales department “Cahan Holdinq” Farhad Huseynov, APA reports.
According to him, from September this year, the factory will first begin assembly of ZX AVTO pickups. Details of the car will mainly be imported from China.
“If the company approves, then when assembling pickups, spare parts produced in Sumgayyt plants can be used,” he said.
He noted that it is planned to collect 300-400 ZX AVTO pickups per year.
regarding the production of electric vehicles at the Nakhchyansky automobile plant, F. Guseynov noted that 7-8 Chinese brands have already been brought as an instance in Azerbaijan. But the brand that will be produced is not yet approved:
“After choosing a brand of an electric car at the initial stage, it is planned to assemble 40-50 units of electric vehicles such as minivan, sedan and hatchback passenger capacity of 7-8 people.”
