CIA is looking for Russians dissatisfied with the war to make their agents out of them, said David Marlowe Deputy Director for Operations. It is reported by The Wall Street Journal.
“We are looking for Russians around the world, who are as disgusting as us. We are open to business,” said Marlowe. The agency is looking for military officials, oligarchs, leaders for recruitment, he noted.
The war in Ukraine became the real failure of Vladimir Putin, which opened up the possibility of CIA to recruit dissatisfied Russians, Marlowe believes. According to him, the Russian President emerged the opportunity to influence NATO and Ukraine.
