Co-chairs about meeting of Bayramova and Mirzoyan: “Discussed a wide range of unresolved questions”

The OSCE Minsk Group of Minsk Group welcomes the first after the Patriotic War I will meet the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia. This is stated in the statement of the OSCE MG co-chairs – Stephen Visconti (France), Andrew Shefra (USA) and Igor Khovaeva (Russia).

According to information, the co-chairs held separate meetings in the fields of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly with Azerbaijan Foreign Minister by Jayhun Bayramov and the head of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan. Then there was a meeting with the participation of co-chairs and heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia. The meetings also attended the personal representative of the OSCE Chairman Angey Kaspřík.

The statement notes that “this meeting is regarded as a sign of determination of the two countries to resume the peace process through direct dialogue aimed at promoting security, stability and prosperity in the region.”

“The co-chairs and heads of the Foreign Ministry discussed a wide range of unresolved issues between Azerbaijan and Armenia and offered specific targeted measures to deoxulate the situation and the following steps”, indicated in the statement.
