The head of the judicial committee FIFA Pierliji Collin positively appreciated the introduction of new technologies at the 2025 club championship.
In an interview with the official website of FIFA Collin, he emphasized that the use of the tax chambers allowed the audience to see the match with the eyes of the arbitrator.
“We got the opportunity to observe the game as the judge sees it. It is not only spectacular, but also useful for learning arbitrators and explanations of controversial moments,” he said.
Speaking about the entered eight -second rule for goalkeepers, Collin noted his positive impact on the dynamics of matches.
“The innovation turned out to be very effective. The pace of the game has grown, and goalkeepers no longer delayed time, as often happened earlier,” he stressed.
Collin also commented on the use of the semi -automatic system of fixation of the offside.
“When the offside is obvious, the system informs the side judges in advance. Thanks to this, goals are canceled in a timely manner and the right decisions are made. We are very pleased with the result,” he said.
The final match of the FIFA club club will be held on Sunday between the Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea teams.
