Commander Of Ground Forces Of Ukraine Resigned

The commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mikhail Drapaty, filed a resignation report. He reported this on his Facebook.

The decision was made after a missile strike on the training unit of the Armed Forces, as a result of which 12 military were killed.

“I decided to file a report on the resignation from the post of commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is a conscious step dictated by my personal sense of responsibility for the tragedy at the 239th training ground, as a result of which our warriors died,” he wrote.

Drapaty noted that, as the commander, he could not fully ensure the implementation of his orders.
