China is ready to increase imports of high-quality agricultural products from Tajikistan, said the chairman of the PRC Si Jinping.
“Parties need to continue to adhere to the high-quality joint construction of the initiative” one belt, one way “as the main direction,” said China’s leader in a telephone conversation with President Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon. It is reported by Sinhua.
According to him, Dushanbe and Beijing should also promote cooperation in the trade and economic sphere and in the field of digital economy.
Chairman of the People’s Republic of China stressed that “China encourages investments in Chinese enterprises in Tajikistan and is ready to increase the import of environmentally friendly and high-quality agricultural products from Tajikistan.”
He also noted that both parties should fully engage the role of a joint mechanism of prevention and control at checkpoints across the border in order to ensure the unobstructed and highly efficient movement of goods between the two countries.
