On the Goradiz – Agbend railway, 110.4 kilometers, the construction of one of the longest railway bridges in Azerbaijan is completed, told reporters the head of the Department of Construction of Azerbaijani Railways CJSC Tural Abbasla during a mediator dedicated to the construction of the Goradiz railway. – Agbend.
According to him, the length of the bridge will be 418 meters, and it will be one of the longest railway bridges in Azerbaijan.
The construction of the Goradiz -Agbend railway started in March 2021. In accordance with the project, the construction of nine stations (Goradiz, Mardzhanly, Mahmudlu, Saltanla, Gumlag, Hakari, Minjivan, Bartaz and Agbend) is provided. Also, 469 engineering structures will be installed during this road, including 41 bridges, 22 automobile crossings, three tunnels and other structures. Construction will be completed in three stages.
