Syrian Foreign Minister Assad Hassan Al-Sheibani held a meeting with the European Union counter-terrorism coordinator Bartjan Vegter.
As reported by the official Syrian news agency SANA, Al-Sheibani received Vegter in the capital of the country – Damascus.
In particular, during the negotiations, the parties considered the prospects for cooperation between Syria and the EU in the field of combating terrorism and countering joint security threats.
The importance of strengthening constructive dialogue and communication channels to help ensure security in the region was noted.
