Activated Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Professor of the Department of Physics of Baku Engineering University Anvar Nakhmedov died at the age of 62. According to report, academician has been infected with coronavirus for some time.
He died in the hospital in which he received treatment.
Anwar Nakhmedov was born on August 24, 1959 in the city of Baku. In 1981, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Physics of Azerbaijan State University. From September 1, an appointment began working in the Laboratories at the Institute of Physics Nana led by an academician Firudin.
A.Shmedov is the author of about 90 scientific articles, including books “Additive and correlation effects in small systems.”
