Police officers in public places found and detained two active patients with coronavirus. Azeri Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this to Azeri Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was established that residents of the city of Baku – 38-year-old N. Rzayeva and 36-year-old T. Bayramova left their place of residence, despite the appointment to receive treatment at home.
Police officers held explanatory conversations with them, escorted them home in compliance with medical procedures, notified the relevant healthcare structures.
Materials concerning N. Rzayeva were transferred to the investigation department of the Narimanov district police department. A criminal case was initiated on the fact under Article 139.1 (violation of anti-epidemiological and quarantine regimes) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In relation to the second citizen, the proceedings are ongoing.
