The partnership of Russia and China is a model of the interaction of large powers in the modern world, it is built on the principles of mutual respect and equality, trust and non -interference in each other’s internal affairs.
This was stated by the Secretary of the Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev during a meeting with a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, secretary of the political and legal commission Chen Wencin in the fields of the XII International Meeting of High Representatives Building Safety issues.
“China’s participation in this annual international conference is a good tradition. The further strengthening of a comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction with the PRC is a priority for Russia’s foreign policy,” Patrushev said at a meeting in St. Petersburg.
According to him, Moscow pays primary attention to the development of cooperation with China in all areas and building coordination in the international arena.
A special role in strengthening the Russian-Chinese partnership is played by confidential contacts at the highest level, he said.
Patrushev noted that Moscow and Beijing intend to strengthen cooperation through special services and law enforcement agencies.
“aimed at continuing a dialogue on the further strengthening of cooperation between law enforcement agencies and special services, including within the framework of consultations on public security, justice and law and order,” added the secretary of the Russian Security Council.
