The court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan, chaired by Judge Wage Misakyan, rejected the petition of the lawyer of the former head of the state of Serzh Sargsyan on the removal of arrest from the property of his client. According to the Armenia satellite, the judge Vaga Misakyan reported.
Earlier, the lawyer Ruben Hakobyan said that the investigator had made arrest on movable and immovable property Serzh Sargsyan, financial resources, stocks and securities with a total value of 489 million 160,310 drams (more than 1.5 million manat). He was on the eve of the petition for the removal of arrest.
“The Court decided to reject the petition for the abolition of arrest of Serge Sargsyan’s property. The decision may be appealed in the appeal criminal court,” said Misakyan.
